My First Wedding Mass Order

Salam & Hi

I remembered putting similar title in one of my earlier post in February, I think. At that time, I considered 25pieces of L size cuppies as mass order. Well, it was, at that point of time!

Well, at THIS point of time, I believe 500 pieces was my latest mass order!...

And I owe it to my friend, Pn Aisyah Idrus of Petronas Carigali for trusting me to deliver the above for her sister's wedding reception on 6 December 09.

The initial order was 300 pcs but she later on added to 500pcs of which made me went ga-ga for awhile, worrying if I could deliver them on my own. Can we do it?

YES, WE DID IT!!

Alhamdulilah......Thanks to my cousin, Dina Taha who was willing to work for me on this wedding project and to my Luv and cheekyface Aniq who were there to lend their helping hands in ensuring smooth delivery (from box folding to correct counting) and ants-free environment at home!

These were Vanilla Cupcakes in Vanilla Buttercream....

We finished everything on the night of 4 December and we celebrated the project completion over nice dinner at San Francisco Pizza............my treat! And on the 5th, we spent the day off at Shah Alam Wet World, attending my neighbour's son birthday party! So it was pretty tiring but fun weekend for us, hehe!

Aisyah came to collect the order on 5th night along with her bro, hubby and lovely daughters...I was very pleased to see how happy she was to see the final product. It felt like all the sleepless nites and hard work were all worth it!!! She sent me this sms after the event:

"Cupcakes dapat pujian ramai. Sedap dan cantik! Class gitu..."

To Aisyah, thank you verrrrryyyyyyyyyyy much for the opportunity and trust you've given me in delivering this project for you. I really appreciate it! Truly hope that the wedding was splendid and the bride & groom lives happily ever after...

To my Team, thanks..I luv u all...mmmuuuuaaahhh!!!!!!

We did it! We did it! Yes, we DID!

Thanks in Bunches...

Salam & Hi

My dear dear friend Lin (foxy corporate lady, ehem!) called me a week ago to book for 1 set of cuppies. I hesitated whether I could slot her order in between the wedding mass order. But then she insisted that I made them for her stating that she wouldn't mind if the flavour and design would be the same as for the wedding orders...............hehehe!

Lin was working on this Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Project for her division and she wanted to pay a treat for her team and to thank them for their good work. Hmmm...so nice of u, Project Manager!

I finally said yes but I said nothing about the design...

The secret was worth it when I saw the look on her face when she came to pick up the order at my place.....Hihihihihi...

Yes, I know...SO SWEET, eh?

Vanilla Cuppies in Vanilla Buttercream

Truth is, I was pretty reluctant to sell this to her, u know......Hehehehehe.....I think the design is simple but the colour combination made them so fresh & sweet! This one makes great gifts for anyone's mom in law too.... ; )

Later on, Lin sent me this msg via FB:

"Hey ur cuppies rock.. Semua org suka.. Esp me la.. Tq gurl sbb sudi buat.. "

Well, the pleasure is mine, honey! Hehhehehe...thanks to you, Lin for your repetitive orders and for believing in me since day 1....Love ya...!

XOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOX!

The Doctors' Lil' Party

Salam & Hi

I'd like to share this order I made for my best friend from school days, Yus on 29 Nov. Yus ordered this set of cute cupcakes (really!) as to celebrate hers and another 2 doctor friends of hers who also celebrated their birthdays in November.

She told me the cuppies were meant for a little celebration they were having among her friends cum study groupmates (these doctors are preparing for their master degrees as to become specialists!...I salute them for that!); a little joyous escapade just before their semester exams... ; )

These are Blueberry Hella Berry, my best seller!

Yus told me everybody loved the cuppies so much and some who were a bit sceptical about cupcakes ("mostly are nice looking but wait till u taste ém!"- sort of comment ) totally changed once they had a bite.................Haha! Alhamdulilah...so happy to hear that... ; )

To Yus, thanks for the purchase and for promoting my cuppies and blog. I really appreciate it, my dear...... Thanks for the time spent with me too...I know u r one busy doc.....I also know that I see u a lot more too compared to the last 5 years...right? Somehow I owe that to my new found love in baking and of course, my cupcakes!

And to Yus' birthday month mates (HKL doctors @ HUKM) , thank you for your support and interest in my cuppies. Hope u girls had a really great time, indulging...

Oops! By the way...here some close-up of my Hella Berry cuppies, barely naked....(that means less cosmetic) with fresh bluberries on top!. I made some extras for some tea-time with good friends. They were to-die-for, gobbled with fresh brewed coffee and hot gossips!

I Love Sesame Street!

Salam & Hi

Yes. I love Sesame Street!

You bet, I do. It was my all time favourite show since I was 8 (I think) and even to this very day I still watch them with so much joy! Call me childish or whatsoever, to me they're the BEST!

So, when Nani. my regular customer (chewah!) asked me to make Elmo & Cookie Monster cupcakes for her son, Amer's 1st birthday, I could never say No, of course! Whatsmore the order was meant for delivery few days before I left for Japan to personally meet Elmo and the gang in persons (or person in costume, whatever..!) Ahaks!

These were Chocolate Chip cupcakes in Vanilla Buttercream.

Hihihihi, to Nani, thanks a lot for ur order again, dear...and it is always good to see you dropping by my hse for the pick up... Let me know when you are moving to be my neighbour soon k?

Now, who's your favourite Sesame?

Barbies for Baby

Salam & Hi

I got a call about 2 weeks before my trip from an old ex-colleague, Pn Aishah of PCSB who requested for some Barbie cupcakes for her second daughter, Nur Aleya or they fondly called Baby at home... ; ). Baby is 4!

Aishah picked these up from my place on 13 Nov, along with the big sister Aqeela, 7 ; who happened to be Aniq's another crush at school (yea, he got 3 so far.. ; P) ......... He mentioned her name to me recently and at that time I had no idea that Aqeela is actually Aishah's daughter! What a small world...sabor jer lar....hiks! Kids nowadays...

Anyway, I made Barbie Mariposa cupcakes for the little princess, all in Chocolate Chip flavour with Vanilla Buttercream.

To Aishah, thanks a lot for the order and am pretty anxious to do your next order nih!
I truly hope Baby was really happy with her Barbies...! Thanks again!

The Very Happy Birthday Princess

Salam & Hi

Hey, I'm back!!!!

I took one week off to tour Japan....Yokohama - Osaka - Tokyo to be exact.
Just came home last night...unpacking not quite done yet..
I'll tell u more about the trip next time ...(i got so much to write...really!!)
One thing I could say for now is it was a truly memorable journey we ever made...really!

As for now, I'd like to share this lovely princess cupcakes I made for my friends Ruzlan & Fizah's daughter, Arissa in October (I actually slipped this from my post list! Sorry Fizah!)

Fizah ordered this for Arissa's 7th Birthday...it was a pretty little party and Aniq and I were invited too..........Arissa and Aniq were born in the same year and used to grow up together in Kerteh. It's been 6 years since they last saw each other....but they clicked right away that day they reunited!

These were Vanilla Cupcakes in Buttercream...............yumm yumm!

Fizah actually just moved to KL from JB that weekend and the birthday party was an impromptu...So as not to dissapoint the birthday girl, I strived and managed to complete this set in 3 hours time... from scratch!

The result was a very happy birthday princess!

Who wouldn't be with these pretty cuppies, right? heheheheheh

Happy Birthday, Arissa....may u grow up to be nice and pretty lady like ur mommy too, ok?

We celebrated at Asam Pedas @ The Curve, Mutiara Damansara. There was a live band there also and the girls were all dancing their stuff! Hahahaha! Kesian Aniq...takde geng ....hihihi..Oh yea..Aziz M Osman (one of the Malaysian popular film director) and his crew were also there..kesian they had to share only 1 piece of the cupcake....

....cuz most of the cuppies went to this cutie pie....

Ardillia, Arissa's lil' sister finished 3 or 4 pcs (I think) by herself....hahahahah! So cute..!

To Fizah, thanks for the order and for inviting me for the girls'nite out too...Aniq and I had great time, yea..although I was pretty down with migraine throughout the day..

To Fieqah, thanks for sharing ur lovely shots on FB too!

Okay, now...going back to unpacking....
